The initial investment range for a Cheba Hut ranges between $376,000- $678,000, which is considerably lower than what many of those other Franchises want for a basic, cookie-cutter restaurant. The range is determined by the type and condition of the real estate and the particular market you are in.

Start-up costs include line items like leasehold improvements, equipment, furniture, inventory/supplies, grand opening marketing, and three months of initial working capital. A competitive benefit for Cheba Hut is our simple operational concept where our stores have no complicated and expensive hoods or grills. In fact, in order to produce the best damn sandwich you’ve ever had, our Franchise Owners only need our Cheba toaster. Thanks to flexible, smaller formats, our build-outs are cheaper than other complex restaurant build-outs.

Investment  $376,000-$678,000

For candidates applying for a single unit agreement, you should have a credit score of 700+, liquid capital of $225,000 or more and a net worth of over $430,000. For candidates applying for multiple units, the requirements in terms of both professional backgrounds, skill sets are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Candidates with strong credit are often suitable for SBA or traditional business loans that can cover up to 75% of the overall investment. Cheba Hut has relationships with lenders in the franchise space and will make the appropriate introductions during the Education Process.

For those with experience in multi-unit franchising or with a high degree or business/retail experience, you may be eligible for a multi-unit agreement with Cheba which affords new Franchise Owners with a lower franchise fee for each unit awarded.
